With the announcement on 1 December 2016 that Ipernity will be winding down in early 2017, I have started to move my gallery to my own website.

As I am building the gallery manually I expect it will take around two or so months to be completed, but hopefully in time before Ipernity closes for good.

My new gallery is being built here:https://www.ianmcgregorphotography.com/gallery/

It is sad to see Ipernity go after 10 years, I believe their community was one of the friendliest around. I love their ability to host photography articles. In September I had won a free year membership paid for by another member. Although I do hold out some hope they will be bought or rescued, like many other photographers you can’t leave your galleries until last minute to move to elsewhere, due to the enormity of doing so.
